Wind, Solar, Geothermal, Hydro and Biomass Energy are known as non conventional energy sources. Recently set a target to protect classical fuels and therefore support the implementation of new forms of alternative energy.
Renewables, by kind and nature, presents a number of properties and a number of technical features. Each of renewable energy sources have been studied more or less depending on the possibilities of implementation in various sectors of the economy and the possibility of use in building service.
Studies and ongoing research and what can be said about renewables is that worldwide investments made by some countries are quite modest, whereas the investment in equipment conversion (heat, electricity) and expenses operation of installations made are still high.

Solar Energy
Thermal batteries can be stored in the form of heat or generate electricity using photovoltaic panels. Solar systems based on solar gravity to work during spring-autumn are also becoming more common. Human imagination had reached to the point that used solar energy for use in the most diverse. Solar lamps can be found in the form of a set of garden dwarfs and are ideal for illuminating gardens, lawns.
Wind energy is an inexhaustible source. Energy production using wind as the source does not cause environmental pollution and is available in virtually unlimited proportions. Production costs are right now comparable to the energy produced from traditional fuels. Wind turbines - energy is generated in a low speed alternator, resulting in a voltage 240-400V power variable, as long as the wind blows. Bergey wind turbines produced in U.S. are the latest products in the field.
As the exploitable geothermal energy are two sources of energy:
- The Earth's hot core energy transmitted by conduction its upper layers;
- Solar radiation transmitted through the earth and stored in its bedding area.
Geothermal power plants that capture but can affect the surrounding soil (when hot water is injected into the rock to obtain steam) and emit small amounts (5% compared to a fossil fuel power) of CO2 and sulfur.
The force of water falling trigger turbines that produce electricity. Water is collected in a reservoir and channels through a dam. The conditions for hydroelectric power is a powerful and fast water current and a significant height to which water bath.
It's an inexhaustible source, but dams have a limited life. Major users are Norway and Brazil, where hydropower than 90% of electricity consumption, USA, Canada, China and Russia.
Biomass is the biodegradable fraction of products, waste and residues from agriculture, including vegetal and animal substances, forestry and related industries, as well as the biodegradable fraction of industrial and urban waste.
Biomass is the most abundant renewable resource on the planet. It includes absolutely all organic matter produced by metabolic processes in living organisms. Biomass is the first form of energy used by humans, with the discovery of fire.
